Device drivers are and have always been a pain irregardless of your OS. With the advent of the Internet, most vendors have sites where you can find current drivers. My advice is to install with the driver that comes with the device. If it does not work or if you must have the newest drivers on your PC, download the lastest certified version from the vendor.
