Microsoft generally includes extra tools in the support folder for Windows NT and Windows 2000. They are generally useful although not a replacement for the resource kits. You should learn these tools.
Service Packs generally include updates for some of these tools. The utility updates are not installed when you update the operating system with the SP. The updated tools are available in the Support\Tools\Support.cab file on the Windows 2000 SP CD. Windows 2000 SP3 has update for :

| ACLDIAG.exe | ACL Diagnostics: determine whether a user has been granted or denied access to a directory object. It can also be used to reset access control lists to their default state. |
