Explorer in Windows NT2000, like Windows NT4, hides system files. Windows 2000 Explorer actually hides certain folders. To be able to view all files and folders, in Windows 2000 Explorer:

Click Tools / Folder Options...
Click Tools / Folder Options... /
Select radio button Show hidden files and folders
