Windows NT's startup screen is stored in WINNT256.BMP. Rename WINNT256.BMP to WINNT256.BMP.OLD. Copy your bmp file to the directory where NT is installed. This directory is normally \WINNT. Rename your bmp file WINNT256.BMP. How well it displays depends on many factors. Give it a try. If you don't like it, delete WINNT256.BMP and rename WINNT256.BMP.OLD to WINNT256.BMP to get back to where you started.
