The computer science department of the Technische Universiteit Eindhoven has developed and is providing a freeware utility SequoiaView that uses a visualization technique called cushion treemaps to provide you with a single picture of the entire contents of your hard drive. You can use it to locate those large files that you haven't accessed in one year, or to quickly locate the largest picture files on your drive. With color coding, its obvious at a glance what type of file or files are involved.
The cushion treemaps are a niffty method of seeing whats consuming your hard drive space. You will need High Color resolution or better. I highly recommend it. Supports Windows 95 / 98 / ME / NT4 / 2000 / XP.
