User Tip #24: Explorer File Copy and Paste or Cut and Paste

You are viewing folder myfolder on drive C: using Explorer. You want move a file, thefile, from C:\myfolder to a folder on drive D:. You don't have to open a drive D frame at the same time and then drag the file from C: to D:. All you have to do is right-click the file and choose Cut (or Copy). Then you open drive D: and right-click in the folder you want the file copied into. Choose Paste and the move is complete. Take the time to watch other people work. You will learn new tricks.
