User Tip #77: Enable disk performance

Hits: Failed to execute CGI : Win32 Error Code = 3

Windows NT Performance Monitor does not record disk performance information by default. To have disk activity reported, at the command prompt, type:

diskperf -y

After rebooting NT, disk monitoring will be available. If there is a striped set, you need to use the command: diskperf -ye

The command works remotely if you have administrative access using the \\computername option.

The options are different for Windows 2000
