NT gives you a certain amount of time to select whether to boot default NT, VGA version of NT or another OS such as DOS or Win9x. You need administrator rights to change the boot delay. Select Start:Settings:Control Panel:System:Startup/Shutdown tab and change the number of seconds using the Show list for control. You can set the delay from 0 to 999 seconds.
